Juliette Lemieux (2004, elle/iel) est une artiste émergente originaire de Rouyn-Noranda. Elle poursuit actuellement un baccalauréat en arts visuels et médiatiques à l’Université du Québec à Montréal (Tiohtià:ke).
Iel possède un DEC en arts visuels du Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue, ainsi qu’un certificat en création numérique de l’Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Elle travaille actuellement comme webmestre au centre d’artiste autogéré Écart ainsi que comme animateurice au MA Musée d’art de Rouyn-Noranda où elle s’occupe également de quelques tâches de graphisme et de communication.
Juliette fut récemment nommée lauréate du prix Émergence Télé-Québec (2025) au Gala d’excellence en arts et culture organisé par le Conseil de la culture de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Il s’agissait de sa seconde nomination en deux ans dans cette catégorie. Son travail a été présenté pour la première fois en solo au centre d’artistes Écart (2024) à la suite d’un stage payé de huit semaines offert par le centre. Elle fut également exposée aux éditions 2022 (St-Jérôme) et 2023 (Montréal) de l’Intercollégial en arts visuels du RIASQ, et iel a été récipiendaire de la bourse Écart et du prix des mécènes Denis Verret et Johanne Lacasse lors de son vernissage de fin d’études en 2023. Essayant peu à peu de forger sa place dans la communauté artistique de Rouyn-Noranda, Juliette Lemieux est continuellement à la recherche de projets dans lesquels s’impliquer.
Juliette Lemieux (2004, she/they) is an emerging artist from Rouyn-Noranda. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in visual and media arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal (Tiohtià:ke).
They hold a DEC in visual arts from the Cégep de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue, as well as a certificate in digital creation from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. She currently works as webmaster at the artist-run center
Écart as well as a camp counsellor at the MA Art Museum of Rouyn-Noranda, where she also leads tours and handles some graphic design and communications tasks.
Juliette was recently named winner of the Émergence Télé-Québec award (2025) at the Gala d'excellence en arts et culture organized by the Conseil de la culture de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue. This was her second nomination in two years in this category. Their work was presented for the first time as a solo artist at the Écart artist-run center (2024), following an eight-week paid internship offered by the center. She was also exhibited at the 2022 (St-Jérôme) and 2023 (Montréal) editions of RIASQ's Intercollégial en arts visuels, and was awarded the Écart bursary and the Denis Verret and Johanne Lacasse Patrons' Prize at her graduation art show in 2023. Gradually forging their place in Rouyn-Noranda's artistic community, Juliette Lemieux is always on the lookout for projects to get involved in.
